Super Duplex | Alloy 2507 | UNS S32750 | 1.4410
Super Duplex Stainless Steel has the same advantages as its counterpart Duplex. The main difference is that this metal has a higher chromium and molybdenum content, giving it increased corrosion resistance.

Super Duplex | Alloy 2507 | UNS S32750 | 1.4410
Alloy 2507 is a super duplex Stainless Steel with 25% chromium, 4% molybdenum, and 7% nickel, designed for demanding applications requiring exceptional strength and corrosion resistance, such as chemical processes, petrochemical, and seawater equipment. The steel is excellent in resisting cracking due to stress corrosion, has high thermal conductivity, and a low thermal expansion coefficient. The high chromium, molybdenum, and nitrogen contents provide excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and general corrosion. The impact strength of uns s32750 is also high. Alloy 2507 is not recommended for applications requiring prolonged exposure to temperatures above 570°F due to the risk of toughness reduction. 1.4410 Super Duplex has the same advantages as its counterpart Duplex. The main difference is that this metal has a higher chromium and molybdenum content, providing increased corrosion resistance.
