ASTM B/SB 423 Inconel 825 / UNS N08825

Inconel 825, also known as Alloy 825 or UNS N08825, is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy with small amounts of molybdenum, copper, and titanium. This combination gives Inconel 825 improved corrosion resistance in the most demanding environments. The alloy is particularly resistant to sulphuric and phosphoric acids/alkalis under both oxidising and reducing conditions.

The quality of UNS N08825 is of great importance to us. To ensure this, we work with analysis equipment from Hitachi and operate according to the EN-ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 9001:2015 certified quality system.

Applications of Inconel 825

Due to its superior corrosion properties, Inconel 825 is used in a variety of industries and applications, including: chemical processing, pollution control, calorifiers, oil and gas extraction, hot vessels for food, water and seawater, acid production, adhesive tank heaters, tanks and equipment, nuclear fuel reprocessing, handling of radioactive waste, and marine exhaust systems.

Advantages of Inconel 825
