What is a BSP Gate valve, screwed ends?
A gate valve is a valve with a slide or flap. It is therefore also called a plate valve or slide valve. By turning the handle open, you remove the closure flap, and when you turn the handle closed, the valve closes off the passage. The big advantage of a sluice valve is that the pressure loss remains reasonably limited. These valves are designed to be either open or closed. It is therefore less suitable as a control valve. Our sluice valves have a cylindrical internal thread (BSP).
