What is a BSP Bite-ring nut?
A BSP Bite-ring nut is a ring with internal screw thread with which you connect two ends. It is a component of a bite-ring coupling. This is how you connect, for example, hydraulic pipes. The gland, together with the coupling housing and the cutting ring, belongs to a cutting ring coupling. The components of a cutting ring coupling can also be purchased separately. Glands are mainly used in installation technology for the installation or maintenance of (hydraulic) pipes.
