Re-marking | restamping

Re-marking metals may be necessary when a part of an item is used. The remaining part is then provided with a (hard) stamping, so that it is clearly marked with the dimensions, quality, and batch number.

In order to be able to re-mark or restamp a type of metal, you need to be authorised.

Since 2015, Paul Meijering has been authorised by Lloyd's Register to re-mark (saw) pieces according to the standard G0304-M003. We can also provide fixed lengths of material with an ink or hard stamping along with a corresponding re-marking declaration. View our Re-marking Certificate here.

The FlyMarker mini 65/30 is a fully mobile marking machine that we use for creating durable and fast markings. The Markator FlyMarker mini has a marking area of 65 x 30 mm. A lightweight marking machine weighing up to 2.4kg including the battery, which is easy to use. The marking needle is electromagnetically driven and applies dot markings through oscillating movements. Different marking heights are available in increments of 0.1mm. The FlyMarker can process both soft materials and hard materials.

Bodor BML-20FT

Hard stamping

Additionally, we work with a Bodor BML-20FT machine. With this machine, we can provide a hard stamping on the respective items. The online transfer of relevant text or codes is carried out directly with this machine, such as for example a QR code. A QR code contains all information within a compact engraving and exchanges the relevant information with other scanning systems. All important and necessary information is included within that code.
