Packaging
We pay extra attention to wrapping and labeling our outbound pipes, tubes and bars. An automatic wrapping system is used to ensure that shipments arrive undamaged and complete. Fittings and flanges are also transported in sturdy packaging, this is to ensure that no damage occurs during shipping. We can also arrange to have orders sent by air freight.
Backfill materials such as boxes, crates, shelves and pallets are re-used by us. In this way we reduce our waste flow and we also contribute as a company to a better environment.
How important is good packaging?
We wrap (bundles of) tubes or other long items such as bar material. This prevents bundles from becoming loose, dirty or in contact with materials that could cause corrosion.
Our automatic wrapping machine wraps the bundles automatically after they have been picked by the warehouse employee.
Sustainability
Besides reusing packaging materials that we receive when we order supplies, we pack our (welding) fittings and flanges in used boxes. For additional packing, we use sustainable bubble wrap, which consists entirely of recycled plastic.
With this, we try to minimise our environmental footprint as a company.
